Pressing Refresh on Galooli’s Dashboards

Galooli's Dashboard Update Top Image

Galooli has always endeavored to constantly look for ways to improve our solutions. Part of that is constantly looking for additions and feature improvements, but another critical aspect is feedback from our customers.

This is an aspect of our process that cannot be understated, and the improvements we have made would not have been possible without their participation in our pursuit of excellence.

With their insights into their use of our platform and modules, we were able to fine-tune our dashboards to provide even greater added value, clearer metrics, and more relevant performance breakdowns.

So let’s take a look at the changes we’ve made to the Galooli Platform’s Dashboards.

Though our current platform provides a comfortable, centralized location to remotely monitor and manage your assets, it still requires using a computer terminal of some sort to access. Fortunately, that is finally about to change.

Our clients will have visibility, monitoring and real-time alert capabilities in the palm of their hand.

Dashboards Breakdown

Our dashboards are divided into two distinct categories, each with its own purpose – Overview, and Performance.

Overview Dashboards are designed to provide an overview of remote sites’ performance on a periodic basis and track their improvements.

Performance Dashboards are focused on actively tracking asset performance, detecting problematic sites and alerting stakeholders to issues including asset health and inefficient use.

With that out of the way, lets dive into our new and improved dashboards.

Energy Management Overview

Managing KPIs has become much more streamlined, with tabs separating energy assets performance and overall KPIs according to the different categories. A graph displays the overall energy use of each asset per its relative energy use, instead of just over time. We can also isolate certain periods of time to identify issues, cleaned up the dashboard, and drag open performance reports for easy access.

Site Cost Overview

Users can now track how much a unit of energy costs per site, and their relative efficiency. Though large sites may have significant energy needs, they may be running relatively efficiently, while smaller sites perform poorly. Our algorithm takes this into account and can correctly identify the most costly sites worthwhile optimizing. This can be done on a per-site and per-network basis, and customers can add their own particular metrics that are relevant to their organization.

Grid Performance

We have a new dashboard that tracks grid usage! We track average availability per site and network-wide, along with time in use, outages, and worst offenders in terms of grid availability and usage. We also track instances when the grid was available, but a site didn’t utilize it, and when voltage goes over recommended levels.

LIB Performance

We also created a dashboard dedicated to Li-Ion battery performance on an in-depth level. Passive equipment can be some of the most expensive assets onsite, we provide a in-depth look at their performance. This includes State of Health and Charge, voltage, usage metrics, temperature trends, and overall battery status. We can also track how many sites are using Li-Ion batteries, how many are in use, the average number of batteries per site, and how many should be in use but aren’t.

Solar Performance

We took our renewable energy tracking a huge leap forward by creating a new separate dashboard for solar and other renewable energy performance. We track how much energy is gathered, what percent of the energy used came from renewables, cost savings from solar use, and what percent of your cost went to solar energy. We also provide a graph tracking the total kWh of use and the % of the energy provided, along with the best-performing sites in terms of their solar or renewable energy use.

Generator Performance

Our generator dashboard got a facelift and became much more focused and easy to navigate. We track fuel use, fuel drops, number of times refueled, relative generator efficiency, percent of generator reliance, effectiveness, and your fuel use per hour. We also track kVa, generator usage time, a pie graph visual of performance, and a breakdown of the availability and worst-performing generators.

Galooli’s primary objective!

Providing ICT organizations and facility managers globally a streamlined and comprehensive solution to their energy efficiency and sustainability challenges is Galooli’s primary objective. We want to be your partner as you push to reach annual ESG goals and create a more sustainable business operations model.
