She/He will work closely with management to assist with search, identification, assessing and implementing business development opportunities in Telecom, Edge Data Centers, and other industries. In addition, this job will require managerial responsibilities of staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares quotes, contracts and RFP/RFI responses for potential customers
  • Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
  • Meeting planned sales goals.
  • Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
  • Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
  • Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.
  • Training, motivating and coaching employees as they provide attentive, efficient service to customers, assessing employee performance and providing helpful feedback and training opportunities.
  • Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
  • Promoting the organization and products.
  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and present robust financial modeling and analyses to value projects and terms; develop, participate, and deliver high level presentations and conclusions to senior management and key stakeholders
  • Assist in managing channel partners.
  • Develops and delivers sales presentations in a professional and effective manner by developing presentations for potential customers, maintaining up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends & government regulations.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience selling SaaS (Software as a Service) solution or subscription based product to a diverse customer base.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years’ experience focusing on growing existing business or new business
  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience managing/supervising sales staff.
  • Large account management or project management experience
  • Proven track record for closing large and mid-size companies
  • Consistent and documented track record for achieving monthly/quarterly/annual target metrics
  • Energetic self-starter results oriented and the ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Passionate and self-motivated to assist with driving deals to a successful conclusion and to deliver quality results.
  • Must have effective written communication skills, including computer literacy and make presentations to group of people.
  • Solid oral communication skills needed to accurately describe problems and communicate with customers.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized.
  • Excellent customer service and support skills.
  • Ability to build professional interpersonal relationships.
  • Proficient in MS Office software, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • Knowledge/proficient with SalesForce.com or other CRM tools
  • Availability to travel at least 50% of the time
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment with revenue deadlines
