Galooli Celebrates Earth Day Launching Tree Planting Challenge

Galooli, a global provider of Energy Management and Optimization software, today announced its first ever tree planting challenge seeking to plant 5,000 trees in coordination with OneTreePlanted.org.

Since its founding in 2009, Galooli has been focused on delivering software and analytics to maximize energy efficiency and reduce carbon footprint of energy assets within a variety of industries including telecom, mobile tower, datacenter, and smart energy.

The Galooli Tree Planting Challenge (#GalooliTreePlantingChallenge) is in celebration of Earth Day 2022 and to draw further attention to the importance of energy efficiency and reducing green house gasses.  Galloli would like to challenge its stakeholders to celebrate Earth Day and help OneTreePlanted.org plant 5,000 trees.  Every dollar donated result in a new planted tree.

“Galooli is excited to launch our tree planting challenge and highlight the importance of reducing greenhouse gasses,” said Ronen Barel, Galooli’s CEO. “Bringing attention to Earth Day is important and helping to plant trees and support reforestation is our way of saying thank you to the customers we serve.”

In 2021 Galooli served over 2,000 customers across thirty-five countries.  On average, Galooli’s software enabled these organizations to save up to 40% of operating costs of their energy assets, and at the same time reduce their annual carbon emissions by over 10%.

Onetreeplanted.org has planted over 40 million trees in more than 43 countries across the globe since 2014.  The organization makes it easier for both individuals and businesses to give back to the environment, create a healthier climate, protect biodiversity, and help reforestation efforts.
